5 Things to Consider When Developing a Content Strategy
January 1, 2024In this post, I'm going to share how to get people to visit your blog, how to increase your blog traffic, how to get more views to your blog, and how to create a blog promotion strategy that will bring in more targeted traffic.
I'm not going to rehash the strategies you've heard so much about - for example, sharing your blog on social media. Instead, I'm going to focus on what you can put into practice right now and what you can do right now.be tactfuland immediately began to increase the number of views of the blog content.
Because high quality traffic is the key to a profitable blog; more traffic means:
- moreEmail Subscribers
- Increase domain authority and improve search rankings (if your blog doesn't get any traffic.)Google Internet company There is no reason to put it in the search results)
- Generate more potential customers
- More money - whatever your monetization strategy is!
However, I would like to make it clear that this is not about getting as much traffic as possible.
It's all about consistently getting high quality traffic so that people see your blog and increase your revenue.
That's what you need to be focusing on - not the so-called fluffy numbers that ultimately won't have any real impact on your bottom line.
If you want to know how to get more traffic to your blog and generate up to 5000 visits in the first month, read on.
How to Get People to See Your Blog: Simple Steps to Drive Traffic to Your New Blog
Focus on Evergreen Content

Whenever you create any content for your blog, try to make sure it's evergreen. There's no need to keep creating new content when you're creating evergreen content, that is, content that will stand the test of time and remain relevant months or even years from now.
Plus, the longer your content is relevant, the more backlinks you get and the more social shares you get (don't forget to utilize social media management tools to help you save time). Not to mention how you can help increase blog traffic.
This is amazing for search engine optimization. Organic Traffic: The most important traffic you will get.
Every article you write needs to be based on a highly searched forKeywordsThe goal is to
What's more, your blog post is going to be more and better than the blog posts you get in all the other blog search results for that keyword.
Think of it this way: Currently, you're writing 4 main blog posts, each targeting a specific keyword:
- The first search volume is about 10,000 searches per month.
- Second 5 000
- Third one, 6,500.
- The fourth one, 7,000.
The total number of searches per month was 28,500.
Recent data shows that about 31.7% of all clicks go to the first page of Google search results.
In this case, this means that if you rank high for these keywords, then you will get at least 8,000 website visitors per month from these 4 keywords/blog posts. This traffic is highly targeted and is searched by people who are genuinely interested in finding out what you can show them.
In other words, most of them are potential customers of your business.
This is why search engine optimization should be your primary focus.
But social media is fickle and full of content that competes for people's attention. So if you're going to post content on social media, make sure you schedule it and make sure you know the best times to post it - I've found it helpful to create a social media content calendar so I can keep track. While I want to focus on other ways to drive traffic to my blog, social media is still very powerful and a no-brainer. Don't be afraid to link text to your relevant pages either.
Search engines are here to stay. While algorithms may change frequently, search engine optimization remains the best strategy for consistently generating high quality traffic.
So if you're not already using SEMrush to research keywords, study your competitors' SEO strategies and create backlink campaigns (which we'll get to in a minute). Purchase the SEOPressor plugin for your blog to help optimize your blog posts for search engines.
Beginning of reverse chaining activity
Backlinks - links to your home page or blog page from other blogs and websites - are very valuable.
They help improve search engine optimization (Google uses backlinks to determine the authority of a site or page) and can help you get direct traffic.
But the key thing is the search engine optimization value.
Backlinking is something you should consistently do every month to bring as many backlinks to your site as possible.
However, not just any link will do; you need to get links from high quality sites; otherwise, theGoogle Internet company You will be penalized (also, if the site is too small, these links are of little use).
Therefore, please focus your efforts on theDomain AuthorizationGet backlinks from at least 30-40+ sites. As for the big sites (top sites with more than 75 domain authorizations), you can utilize guest blogging strategies to help you generate new, high quality links every month.
Here's what you need to do
First, know what you are looking for, i.e. authoritative and relevant websites.
You can go through one of the sites:
- Domain Authority - Do a Google search for "domain authority checker" and you'll find a lot of free tools you can use (to find sites with DAs over 30) - or better yet, use SEMrush to quickly find any site (and even see their traffic and other interesting goodies).
- Domain Rating - Google "Website Authority Checker" to find and follow blogs with domain ratings over 50.
- Relevance: Getting links from any site won't work (Google is quick to spot people abusing backlinking tactics to get links from any site); you need to focus on sites and pages that are relevant to the page or blog post you're promoting.
Here are some more backlinking tips that you need to keep in mind:
- Links in the main text are more valuable
- Creating profiles on various websites and forums and posting links there won't work (and may even be bad for your career!). It may even be harmful to your career!
- Your link anchor text (i.e. the clickable text that the link sits on) should not be exactly the same as your link - sites have abused this heavily so Google may see your matching anchor text/link as spam. For example, if you're selling a social media tool and keep linking to it using the anchor text "social media tool", this may do more harm than good in the long run.
- As long as the link is tagged with rel="nofollow", you should be concerned about "dofollow links"; Google will consider them as links that should not be considered when ranking a page.

Now, let's talk about backlinking strategies.
Strategy 1: Create Unique Visual Content
Whenever someone uses a visual effect created by someone else on their blog, they must link back to the source.
(If not, you can email them to let them know so they can place the link)
Therefore, this is a very easy and fast way to generate backlinks; here are some of the types of visual content you can create:
- Interesting statistics about your industry
- Chart
- Infographics (including statistics, facts, tips, etc.)
Strategy 2: Email Outbound Backlinking Strategy
Promotional campaigns are the easiest way to generate tons of backlinks for your blog.
- First, you need to want people to link to the content
- Find the relevant website to get the link location.
- Then you need to find their email addresses: use Snov.io to find them quickly (because you need to find hundreds or even thousands of emails - you have to automate the process as much as possible, otherwise it will take too long).
- Use an outreach tool to contact all these bloggers - As before, you need a tool to automate this process, otherwise it will take too long. With a tool like Buzzstream, you can send hundreds of personalized emails a day - trust me, it's a lot easier.
Remember, these types of activities are all about quantity. If you only contact a few people a day, you won't see results.
Not only does this require a lot of links to be effective, but most of your contacts may not reply or take action. That's why you need to email many of them in order to get some of them to link to your content.
Let's discuss strategy.
Reverse Link Gap
The easiest way to discover backlink opportunities - and high quality backlink opportunities - is to find sites that are already linking to your competitors, but aren't linking to you! - The easiest way to discover backlink opportunities - and quality backlink opportunities - is to find sites that are already linking to your competitors but not to you!
To do this, download SEMrush and use their Backlink Gap tool - all you have to do is enter your blog URL and up to 4 other competitors' URLs and it will tell you all the backlinks they have that you don't have.
It's as simple as that.
From there:
- Separate all the big sites, i.e. the high-powered sites (which you can sort by weight) that have a weighting of more than 85 points. For these sites you will need to take a different tactic - a more personalized approach or in most cases you will need to guest post for them (so check to see if they got the link this way, as this is usually the case!) .
- Then, for the "smaller" sites (those with authority scores below 85), you can make a separate list for a cold start promotion campaign.
You can potentially find hundreds of thousands of backlinking opportunities from this strategy alone.
In addition, you can furthermore look for other similar blogs and websites in the niche that are not necessarily even direct competitors.
You just need some tools:
- SEMrush, to help you find these backlinking opportunities
- Snov.io helps you find their emails faster!
- Buzzstream can help you reach them on a massive scale.
Guest blogging on premium websites
The best backlinks - the ones that matter most in Google's eyes - are those from premium sites: the most popular blogs in your niche. Think of sites like The Next Web, Inc. and Forbes .......
Additionally, these sites can bring in some direct traffic - if you've guest-posted in enough reputable publications and published multiple articles, you can count on getting a few thousand hits a month from those publications. But this takes time to build up.
So to build backlinks from premium sites, set yourself a monthly goal:
- 5 Premium Websites with DA over 85 per month
- 10 intermediate sites per month with a DA of 70 to 85
As for how to find them, it's super easy.
Google search your niche + "guest blogger guide"/"guest blogger"/"contributor guide".
Then, check out their guidelines page - there you can usually see their specific requirements for your submissions and articles (and, nowadays, a lot of guidelines require you to write content before submitting).
Since writing all of this content takes time, to help with the process you should find a freelancer to assist you.
Sure, it may cost you, but it will save you a lot of time that could be better spent on something else that's hard to outsource: monetizing your blog.
Think of it this way, you are the owner of this business. This program is part of your content marketing strategy. You can't do it all by yourself, you need to hire someone else to do it.
It takes some time to find the right person - someone who not only writes well enough, but knows your industry and understands your style - but once you've found a good person, you have a good collaborator you can trust.
Other Strategies to Consider
While search engine optimization should be your primary focus, this does not mean that you should rely on a single source of traffic. On the contrary, you need to have multiple sources of traffic every month.
Here are additional strategies and platforms you should add to your publicity strategy:
- Install the Social Warfare plugin on your website and make it easy for readers to share your content!
- Build your social media presence and share your posts regularly (not once, but multiple times) - Use a social media scheduling tool to organize all of your content so you only have to spend a few minutes a day on social media.
- Join relevant social media groups and blog sharing groups - there are lots of great groups on Facebook.
- Promote your content to your email list (especially if you have exciting new content) - you can use ConvertKit to manage your list and easily send out email broadcasts!
- Join a blogging community to facilitate social sharing (basically, you can get other bloggers and influencers to share your content with their audience)
Don't forget to check regularly to analyze the results.
Find out where your traffic is coming from and which blogs get the most traffic. This will help you understand which channels to focus on and what other content to write about in the future.
Here is a summary of everything we discussed today:
- Focus on creating evergreen content
- Use SEOPressor to optimize your blog and use SEMrush to find proper backlink opportunities!
